Creating Harmony

This page is meant to give you more information about the logistics of our winter retreat in Costa Rica.

Location:
We will be sponsored by Nosara's beautiful Yoga Center. You can find information on their website www.nosarayoga.com The Center offers daily yoga classes as well as a number of massage types, which you may enjoy (though not included in the retreat cost).

We will be in walking distance to both the beach and our daily walk from the Hotel to the Yoga Center leads through the rain forest.

Accommodations:
We reserved rooms at the Hotel Café de Paris, which is in walking distance. Accommodations vary greatly with price but all are clean and well cared for. You can book a small Villa with AC and ocean view or stay dormitory style.

Listed here are the least expensive and simple rooms.

These prices are per person for 8 nights of stay and include two meals a day (breakfast and dinner).

Deluxe: shared by 4 and has Kitchen $333.00
Junior: shared by three $320.00
Double simple: $360.00
Double Deluxe: $420.00
Single simple: $550.00

Flights:
The closest airport to Nosara is called Liberia. Flights from Boston to Liberia generally go via Miami or Dallas and vary in price from $ 528 to almost $ 1000. We recommend you search on Orbitz and look for special deals. The closer to the winter you come the more expensive the flights become.

So book early!

Transfers:
The hotel offers a shuttle service from Liberia airport to Nosara (1.5 hours) that adjusts the price depending on how many will need picking up. Another option is to fly into San Jose. It is often easier to find affordable flights but the bus ride from San Jose to Nosara takes four to six hours. This might be enjoyable if you stay for a night in San Jose and get some rest before traveling through Costa Rica's tropical forests.
